I have switched to contacts and have had pretty good success, even getting by with slightly leaky googles.

Before that I used prescription swimming googles

I would leave my regular glasses inside my helmet on my bike.

My eyesight is bad enough that I had to leave the googles on to find my bike (you'll see that normally the first thing people do as they come out of the swim is normally take their googles off). I felt pretty stupid running all the way up to my bike in my googles - but it did work

    Well,

I just don't do well with contacts... My astigmatism is pretty bad. I think that I am going to get Rx googles. I have looked a few times and think that is probably best.

Someone said that at some larger events, they have a glasses table with volunteers to hand your specs to you during T1. They just have them in a case with your race number. I may contact Danskin tommorow and find out if this is available.

Wow, I am getting worried..only 18 days until my race... all this last minute stuff. Tri's can be costly!
