Okay. This is "as-is" from the shop. I want to reduce the red a bit, replace the grips and that one red spacer.

The silvery one on the right is actually the thumb shifter. Is that what you're looking at? They're SRAM, and slightly more awkward than the Shimano trigger shifters. The brake levers are on the front side of the bar. I guess they're black and hard to see.

Those are pretty grips. I was thinking of a lightish blue (going for the Siamese cat look) or lime green. The bike color is actually between silver and gold. It's called "brushed titanium" and is almost a metallic khaki color. I like it.

And I need to find a little black cat sticker. The little guy in my avatar went to the bridge a few weeks ago and I'd like to take a reminder of him with me when I ride.

STOP! I'm not sure if I'm laughing or crying. But I did find lots of stickers and decals at Cafepress. Or I can go to a craft store and buy lots of little ones and stick them all over

I think the red accents would pop less if you got rid of the red VW in the background. :-) It's a nice bike!
