Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
Well Ladies,
I just logged in my miles at Bike Journal under TE!
345 miles since February; I must admit I am truly humbled by Sarah's 600k brevet!

welcome welcome welcome!! it's so much fun to see ppl over there that I know from over here - or vicie versie! I was floored when I actually looked at it today and saw how many miles we've posted so far! Zwowie!!!
Yo Cap'n Nuttie?? I posted an upcoming event in the rides section but it didn't transfer over to our club section?? is that only for club rides??....or did I do something goofy (yeah, I would agree with that last statement).

Hey, I *luv* getting "credit' for my 1500 (personal best so far; it's usually mid April or may before I hit 1000).
Had 6 ladies and 3 gents come to my presentation; the gents were all guys who already ride, and the ladies were people who had bikes and rode a *little* and were hesitating because of traffic, pretty much all of 'em. This made it really good to have the guys there to repeat "yes, you can ride on that road!"
Yeaaaa Geonz!! Sounds like it was a great presentation. and what an inspiration for the ladies in the group! and congrats on your personal best!!!!
