While I don't consider myself a Mtn Biker, I am a travel the backroads rider. We have several friend who Mtn Bike. I want to say there are several different shops and groups that do intro to Mt. Biking. Have her go to the SWIMBA website (southwest idaho mountain bike association) or she can email me and I will put her in touch with my friend who is on the SWIMBA board. skyking@biketouringnews.com
She can also come on some of our backroad rides - we usually do at least one a month.
