I also had an experience about 10 years ago with the Bartholin's cyst... after having it drained a few times, it came back and I ended up having an outpatient surgery to remove it... meant a few weeks off my bike and then another month or so on a silly "moon saddle" I bought at Bike Expo, but at least I was riding again. That is true, the only way to TRULY get rid of a Bartholins is to have it removed. The doc told me that the ones I've been getting over the years is most likely this one going up and down. Thankfully it's never gotten really large like I know it can.
