Has anyone used the new speed/cadence sensors for Garmin...?

My hubby just discovered these. Have discovered that there is really no way to attach the old school Garmin sensor to my Seven, thanks to cable placement. And there isn't enough clearance on my crank arm for the cadence magnet, either. This looks like the ideal solution so that I have at least some clue of what I'm doing on the indoor trainer this Winter without buying a cheap rear-wheel computer (which would probably cost about as much as the sensor kit, anyhow). Would love to hear some reviews if anyone has tried this set-up.

DC Rainmaker has reviewed it well here. I'll be able to tell you more after Santa makes some deliveries at Christmas

Blueberry beat me to it! DC Rainmaker is very helpful with Garmin products.

I forgot to even look there. In the past I've loved reading his site when researching models. Though I think he liked the Forerunner 210 and I've found it a PITA.

I don't have any experience with them (I am currently a polar user), they look AWESOME after looking at DC Rainmakers review...much easier than my current polar sensors. That just gives me one more nudge towards getting the 920XT...I am trying so hard to resist until I can get one at a lower price! Ahhhh!
