Yes, it was so great seeing the younger girls riding with their moms. Did you see the 8-9-year-old riding her tiny orange road bike? She was so cute and so fast. My friend and I just barely kept up with her and her mom on East Lake Sammamish Pkwy.

I did see her! And at packet pickup, I overheard a mom asking how she could time things so that she could do Girly Girl and then come back and do the 10 miler with her daughter. And I saw plenty of tandems. At least one of those tandems had a blind stoker whom I've seen at triathlons. It's just a delight, this ride.
