I choose a helmet, partially for visibility and just looking better on me. How vain.
So my helmets have the plastic visor except for my fashion more round Giro that is lime green with an art design sketch. Another is high visibility yellow and black, while oldest one is a dullish red and black which I don't care for..but I was desperate to buy a helmet that fit my other needs. Latter I plan to throw out once I'm willing to recycle others...
Part of me doesn't want to wear an all black helmet or dark coloured helmets....partially because I feel "hotter" in summer to wear an all dark helmet and also because I have black hair....so I'd rather contrast my dark hair colouring against a bright coloured helmet.My Personal blog on cycling & other favourite passions.
