It is meant for an upright riding position + flat bars so I don't know that it really compares with a bike with drop bars - which is how I define a road bike. A 48 for a LHT, if such a thing existed (it doesn't), probably would have a longer TT than what the Gunnar has. I was just trying to related it to something, and I probably shouldn't do that. My fitter/builder said I should just let the dimensions speak for themselves.
Yes, that makes sense...you're right that custom doesn't necessarily relate to anything stock. Depending on the seat tube angle, the reach to the handlebars is going to vary anyway...and since it has flat bars, the reach would be shorter than with the same TT length and drop bars.
I just really hope you sell it. It's a beautiful bike -- I know because I saw it in person!
