So sorry to hear about your DH, Crankin! I am just getting back on DH after a month+ traveling so am only seeing your post now. My DH fractured his clavicle in a bike accident (no car involved, just some bad pavement) years ago. His healing was rather slow, but he did not have surgery -- they didn't recommend it for the location of his fracture, way at the top end of the clavicle. Hope your DH will heal MUCH faster!
