I've received a couple of questions about the kind of riding this bike is designed for. It really is a one-of-a kind bike that doesn't really fit a particular category. It falls somewhere between a rigid mountain bike and a cyclocross bike - and can really be used for everything from light mountain bike to commuting. It is designed for an upright riding position. My fitter calls it the Swiss Army Knife of bikes, I used it for very long rides, and I also used it for commuting and for just playing around on to have fun! It will take up to a 26 x 1.75 tire - though that wide of a tire means all of the air must be let out of the tire to get it past the brake calipers when removing the wheel I've always had tires of that size on it (Conti Travel Contacts), I LOVE those tires.

I am 5'3 and my inseam is either 75.5cm or 76.5cm, I can't quite remember which. The Gunnar was designed for 26 inch wheels and because of certain fitting issues my reach is shorter than might be assumed.
