Hope Oak, you didn't misinterpret what I said. I DO eat breakfast (compared to 2 decades ago), but today I had to fast for blood tests....which didn't occur because I forgot the doctor's completed form for the tests. grrrr..

No, didn't misinterpret it at all. If I have to have a fasting draw I schedule it as early in the morning as possible, and drive. Driving can even be a little sketchy, sometimes. I wouldn't dare ride in a fasted state, myself. From what you said, I thought your blood sugar starts to drop if you try to ride before you eat.

7:20 am is pretty early for a blood test, which now I have to reschedule since I forgot my dr.'s papers. No, my blood sugar drop isn't dramatic..am fine for an 8 km. flattish ride.
