Doesn't that sound GORGEOUS, though. Those pictures must be in there somewhere...

had a 50 mile ride out of Columbus Texas ( an hour and a half west of Houston along I-10) with five other riding peeps. It was very windy (20 mph) and the route had a lot of rollers and hills. Fortunately their were bluebonnets, coreopsis, evening primroses, indian paint brush, wine cups and general yellow blooms to take my mind off of the misery. Finished the ride only to discover that my cell phone pictures have all gone somewhere. sigh....

"My predominant feeling is one of gratitude. I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure." O. Sacks

That sounds lovely. Nothing but dead grass and mud here in MaineI can't even get the bike out of the shed b/c there is three inches of ice in front of the door. I hope you find your pictures, I'd like to experience spring vicariously through you!
