Where do you live? Just outside Camborne in beautiful Cornwall, UK

Explanation of your handle: Kernow is the word for Cornwall, in the Cornish language. (Which is very similar to Welsh and Breton)

Explanation of your avatar: That's my Dad, winning a race in the late 40's or early 50's, somewhere in Warwickshire. He encouraged me to cycle and I miss him loads.

Occupation: freelance illustrator

Favourite bike: Am loving my Trek 7.2 WSD, but I haven't tried any very expensive bikes.

What's in your stable? Just my Trek and my old Raleigh Pioneer 2 (which will be sold soon)

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? No idea, I don't have a speedo on it but some of the hills round here are pretty 'banzai'!

Most memorable moment on my bike: Every time I come over the top of the hill above our place and see St Ives Bay and the coastline spread out in the distance. I think how lucky I am to live in such an area. :-)

Most fun ever had on a bike? Windless warm summer days, with the birds singing and no traffic about.
