Still dialing into my bike and trying to figure out the optimal settings for me with the Specialized brain fork and my seat height (high enough for climbing but low enough to feel controlled for turns). But I rode the most number of mountain biking miles that I have ever done thus far...13 miles 2700 ft elevation. I didn't fall even though I went clipless (I try to only go clipless on fireroads or roads that I am familiar with). Woohoo! Always a great bike day when everyone returns home safe.
Yes, I took a nap today to recover.
Yes, I love my new Specialized Fate 29er carbon hardtail....especially since I have not yet hit my crotch while getting on my bike on a steep uphill (unlike with the other small 29ers that I tried with my 5ft1in body).
