Thanks, everyone. We did it (got married) today in Vancouver, WA. We are now federally recognized as married. That brings a huge relief on what rights we now have federally (I am a veteran).

Re: the 10th Circuit Court denial, NBC reported:
Someone told me that fast-tracking the appeal could mean it will be heard in a matter of weeks, rather than months. The appeals judges, Robert E. Bacharach and Jerome A. Holmes, fast-tracked Utah's appeal, but they said they wouldn't stop the marriages in the meantime, writing that the state would have a tough time proving that letting the marriages go ahead would cause "irreparable harm" or that it had a good shot at winning its appeal.
A short time for the 10th should be a few months with no party asking for an extension and then the time for oral augments and the written decisions. Thankfully the request for a stay to the Supreme Court can be decided by Sotomayor who is the Justice assigned to the 10th.
