    B: egg whites and on egg scrambled with red pepper and some pesto that had been in th fridge way too long. An orange and coffee
    L: tuna on a whole wheat wrap, blueberries
    3 mile run, stretching and strength work
    before dinner I had a beer and a couple of whole wheat pita rounds with a slice of Machengo
    D: I made a Thai dish with scallops, oranges, lemon grass, onions, and a light coconut milk sauce with curry. I did not make the home made curry powder as per the recipe! Had a little whole wheat quinoa left over, so had that, too.

    B: 4 inch long onion bun with sardine in mustard sauce from a tin, a slice of tomato, a coffee with milk and coffee yogurt with plain yogurt mixed in.

    L: a pretzel, water, fruit leather while we're snowshoeing in the mountains

    Snack: coffee with milk, fruit leather.. we're staying at a hotel

    D: fried pita chips (much to our dismay) with spinach cheese dip, grilled salmon over mixed green salad, cranberry juice.
    Later: red wine, blueberry pie slice, some nuts and coffee with milk

    half a Lara Bar before spin class, half on the way home
    B: whole wheat bagel, light cream cheese, lox, tomato, capers, strawberries/blueberries, coffee
    L: salad with chicken breast, pinto beans, green chili salsa, light Colby Jack cheese, an apple
    S: nuts and cranberries
    D: went to my son's house. DIL made a casserole with a bunch of root vegetables from their CSA, little pasta shells and some spicy tomato sauce, one beer

    I did a 20 minute run-walk on the dreadmill and 20 minutes of stretch/strength stuff
    B: bowl of non fat Greek plain yogurt with blueberries, walnuts, coffee
    L: left over vegetable curry, with some added veggies thrown in, an apple
    S: couple of ww pita crackers and one slice of Machengo
    D: tofu stir fry with rice noodles, an orange, 2 squares dark chocolate
    I have several days of heavy eating through Sunday..... My weight isn't budging, but I'll be keeping up fwith exercise, at least

    S: handful of goldfish crackers
    L: ham/turkey wrap with lots of greens
    D: 1/2 stuffed cordon bleu chicken breast, asparagus, roasted sweet potato, 1 glass white wine

    TODAY
    B: 1 piece wg toast with butter, coffee
    S: 1 grapefruit
    L: Not sure yet
    D: steak, baked potato, green beans, salad, red wine (maybe more wine than usual) I plan to open a very special bottle tonight.
    dessert (apple crisp), and an irish coffee

    rest day
    B: 2 scrambled eggs, sweet potato, red pepper, an orange, coffee
    L: shredded chicken, green chili salsa, an apple
    D: went to friends. Had apps (cheese, crackers and grapes), one glass of wine. I tried to control myself here, did just OK. Had a small portion of lamb tangine with whole wheat cous cous and a huge serving of a salad, 2nd glass of wine. Dessert was 2.5 small chocolate chocolate chip cookies and tea

    yesterday:
    b: Eggs benedict over salmon, coffee, grapefruit juice

    lunch/snack: fresh pretzel, water in middle of snowshoeing here in mountains

    early dinner @4:30 pm- small squash soup, lobster and shrimp croissant sandwich, white wine, chai chocolate mousse with passionfruit gelee, tea with milk (We had to do this before dinner since dinner is more expensive at this high end place.).

    Only a 9 km. snowshoeing trip but I was sweating at the end. I didn't eat anything else for rest of evening.

    B: (around 10 AM) whole wheat bagel sandwich with egg whites, light cheddar, one slice of uncured bacon, an orange, coffee
    45 minutes of a hill ride with intervals on the trainer, 15-20 minutes of stretching
    D: went to our neighbors' for dinner. Had some cheese, glass of champagne. Dinner was duck slices with mushroom risotto (had about half of this), salad, little piece of bread, brussel sprouts. Had a slcice of ginger pudding for dessert. glass of red wine

    10 minute warm up on the treadmill, then about 30 minutes of core/weights, followed by 15 minutes of stretching
    B: 2 eggs scrambled with 2 turkey sausages and red pepper, blueberries, coffee
    L: chicken salad with dried cranberries and pecans, cup of tomato soup
    D: cup of Italian veggie/sausage soup, with a spinach salad that had scallops, oranges, pine nuts, one glass of red wine

    L: 1 bowl of split pea soup (homemade), cheese and crackers
    1 piece sees chocolate candy
    D: brown/wild rice casserole, with chicken italian sausage, onions, zucchini and yellow squash, onions, mushrooms, cottage cheese and small amount of parmesan; with a great salad spinach, orange sections, red onion, roasted sweet potatoes, and an orange dressing; 1 glass red wine

    B: tuna in olive oil on a sliced tomato, melted low fat cheddar, an orange
    boot camp, plus 10 minute warm up on the elliptical
    L: went out with a friend. cup of chicken veggie soup, 6oz. salmon on a bun, I had half of the bun, tomato, cole slaw
    D: 2 very thin pork chops with spicy rub, roasted Brussel sprouts, and a really good butternut squash casserole from the Well Fed cookbook, one square dark chocolate

    B: endive stuffed with low fat cream cheese and lox, 1/4 avocado, blueberries, coffee
    L: 3 romaine leaves stuffed with chicken breast, salsa, with a cup of tomato soup, an apple
    3 mile hike, with about 300 ft. climb (an hour)
    S: 2 slices of low salt ham with hummus inside, blueberries
    D: went out to a fabulous new place. everything comes in small or large plates. Split a small apple/arugula salad with DH, then had 3oz. striped bass with veggies and some kind of brown polenta, and a small sized plate of sweet potato tartine with root veggies. 1.5 glasses of red wine

    You can always order a box online, have a few pieces, and then take it to work so you don't have to eat it alone!
