Thanks for the advice. I have a trainer so I'll definitely do that. Anxious to just hop on and try it out but don't want to damage it or me if I can help it.

    Hi Kellym,

I don't have any advice on pedals (I'm looking into that too), but I just wanted to say welcome and invite you to jump over to the "getting to know you thread" and introduce yourself. You've found a great place - we look forward to hearing more from you!

Hi Kelly... I also ride Zeros and the advice given is good... practice somewhere safe...

I'd like to add to that to get coffee covers... worth the $10 investment to not ruin them when walking... also will help keep them from clogging up with dirt etc if you DO need to walk in them... whether it's into a coffee shop or at a SAG station thru dirt! Once a month or so I spray a little White Lightening on mine too... I like to keep 'em lubed as they are really easy to get into and out of then!

Welcome to the board and congrats on the new bike! Happy riding and have fun!
There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".
