    rest day. did about 20 minutes of stretches and strengthening when I got up
    B: 2 egg omelette with lox and tomatoes. an orange, coffee
    L: small amount of left over Cobb salad, an apple with 1 tbsp. almond butter
    S: nuts, cranberries, chocolate bits
    D: 2 lamb loin chops pan seared and baked with tomato-onion compote and a whole bunch of spices, whole wheat cous cous, 2 squares dark chocolate

    B: egg whites, scrambled with sweet potato, and 2 turkey apple sausages. an orange, coffee
    an hour and 45 minutes x country skiing
    L: more left over kale, sausage, sweet potato soup, an apple, mixed nuts
    S: Lara Bar
    D: 2 very thin pork chops with mango-cilantro salsa, roasted broccolini, 2 squares dark chocolate

    B: 1 piece toast with butter, 2 eggs, coffee, oj
    Lara bar for lunch after 1 1/2 hours tennis and then some shopping
    D: spagetti, meat sauce, 1 piece parmesan toast, 1 glass red wine
    1 small piece of carrot cake

    B: slice of whole wheat raisin spelt bread with a tsp. of almond butter before boot camp, cup of Greek non fat plain yogurt with blueberries, almonds, dried cranberries after. Coffee
    L: salad with lettuce, grape tomatoes, chicken breast, left over whole wheat cous cous, salsa, an apple
    S: slice of Machengo
    D: I made a vegetable curry with cauliflower, tomatoes, spinach, carrots, chick peas. 2 squares dark chocolate

    B: plain non fat Greek yogurt with blueberries and almonds, coffee
    L: salad with tuna and grape tomatoes, an orange
    about an hour (3 miles) of snow shoeing
    D: We had our neighbors over for dinner. So, I had a couple of glasses of red wine, whole wheat pita crackers, Machengo, and hummus for appetizers. I made chicken thighs baked on a bed of fennel and scallions, with quinoa, and a tossed salad. I had 2 small thighs. My neighbor brought some dessert from a bakery. I had half of a chocolate cannolli (very teeny) and a taste of a fruit tart.

    B: egg whites and on egg scrambled with red pepper and some pesto that had been in th fridge way too long. An orange and coffee
    L: tuna on a whole wheat wrap, blueberries
    3 mile run, stretching and strength work
    before dinner I had a beer and a couple of whole wheat pita rounds with a slice of Machengo
    D: I made a Thai dish with scallops, oranges, lemon grass, onions, and a light coconut milk sauce with curry. I did not make the home made curry powder as per the recipe! Had a little whole wheat quinoa left over, so had that, too.

    B: 4 inch long onion bun with sardine in mustard sauce from a tin, a slice of tomato, a coffee with milk and coffee yogurt with plain yogurt mixed in.

    L: a pretzel, water, fruit leather while we're snowshoeing in the mountains

    Snack: coffee with milk, fruit leather.. we're staying at a hotel

    D: fried pita chips (much to our dismay) with spinach cheese dip, grilled salmon over mixed green salad, cranberry juice.
    Later: red wine, blueberry pie slice, some nuts and coffee with milk
