That's pretty darn close to what I rode in today, though it was only in the high 40s when I got home.

I had a microweight wool zip-T under a long-sleeve synthetic jersey, and an extremely lightweight windblocking vest over that. Light knit cap under my helmet, Ibex Kilo II gloves, polypro fleece tights, shoe covers.

It was perfect for me. And I could've easily stowed the vest and the cap in my jersey pockets, they're that light, though I wound up leaving them on the whole ride.
