I love that you rode to Costco, Sky King! We did that recently too. We didn't need too much, which helped. I had a backpack, and my DH had his Arkel Tailrider on the rack, plus extra stuff under a cargo net and bungees. I don't think many people in Kansas City ride to Costco, but we love being different.
Normally we are getting way too much there (including a case or two of beer) to ride, but this time it just worked out.

What a great week end we just had.
Steve decided to take Friday off so we got in 22 miles of great single track riding . We were able to link a number of trails together to get some great
climbs and fun down hill.
Sat. we took the Fat Bikes out and did 66 miles of mostly paved , we started from home and rode to Lucky Peak Dam and back.
The weather was great and we are loving the Fat Bikes.
My Road Bike is now for sale.
