Yesterday's ride . . . Ugh; Today's Ride . . .YAY

My SO and I went riding again today. The weather is gorgeous although we did have to fight the wind

We went on a trail I love. It's pretty flat and very pretty. I figured I could increase my MPH on it. Four miles into the ride the trail was closed and detoured. We followed the detour which was a new trail to me. It was quite hilly, but very pretty and really enjoyable. All of sudden the detour ended. We don't know if we missed a turn.

Rather than ride the trail in reverse, we decided to take the roads home. I rode this route with some friends a couple of weeks ago so I knew where we were going. The only thing I don't like is the roads are busy. And wouldn't you know it, we were supposed to get on a trail and that was closed, too!

We didn't stop at all except for stop signs. When we stopped, that's when we took our rest break.

It's hard to believe how a ride can be so miserable one day and so wonderful the next day.

And my SO is really learning! He says, "Passing, Slowing, Stopping, Left, Right"
