You have me really excited to leave Friday for our cycling trip in Vermont. We are not camping, and someone is lugging our stuff, but we will be on our own while riding. This is a first for us. The weather looks good, and the rain is leaving Friday morning and not returning until Tuesday. I couldn't take another trip like the one we had in the Finger Lakes... 240 miles of pouring rain and thunderstorms.
Your trip sounds fabulous and you are right. There is nothing better than New England in September. When I lived in AZ, this is what I dreamed about.
