Police Auction for Bicycles

when our bikes were stolen my SO and I decided we would go the Police Auction on September 12 to see if they might be there. Our bikes have been recovered, but we decided we are going to the auction anyway. It might be fun. The list and photos will be posted a few days before the auction. Has anyone ever been to one? What did you look for?

I went to a police auction long ago... I vaguely remember it. We did buy some things - camping stuff - a back pack and I think, it's contents?? (it was a long time ago). I recall there being some bikes there and lots of tools. I think I remember a parking lot striping machine because I thought it was an odd thing to steal.
