Gotta add something: Your mentioning hubby and kids watching you reminded me of Christmas 2004 when I got Fatty Lumpkin (my road bike). I couldn't unclip and when the family watched me, I was lying (laying, prone, splatted, whatever) in the road in front of my house. Glad I got that over with quickly!
