The police won't release them until Friday because they need them for evidence. We will be out of town for a while so the police said they would keep them until we got back. I won't know the full story until we get back. But I can't wait to bring my Ruby home! And I will have a great story to tell!

When I thought my Ruby was gone, I bought a Trek Domane 4.5. It really is a too good a deal to return. It was nearly $500 off because it is 2012 and a size 44. I think if they hadn't sold it by now, they weren't going to sell it. It's suppose to be an endurance bike. My current Ruby is speed bike. I also received $40 in store credit because it there was some sort of promotion. My SO also bought a custom e-assist bike. Because of the amount we spent, the LBS did give us really good deals.

I don't know if the difference between a speed and race bike makes any difference to me. LOL. If not, I can always sell one, but right now I plan to keep them both. I will have to split my time evenly between them when I go riding. I certainly don't want the Ruby to get jealous of the Domane or vice versa. Who knows what could happen? It's going to be a pain keeping them in the house but they are never getting stolen again!

OMG that is good news. We do get attached to our bikes.

I can not wait to see pictures of the TREK. I love that bike, was drooling over it myself but just did not have the funds for one. I think I need to start saving now for a few years down the road. I would really love to do a custom Project One Domane.
