    Hi AuntieK

I rushed in from our ride and read your report. Great job! You and E look so cute in the pictures!

K-still SO happy I comfortably made it up the two hills on our ride today. . .

Woohoo... way to go... 50miles (approx 100km) is still a goal for me... this year sometime I'm guessing

Congrats, so great to have that feeling of accomplishment

50miles is only 80km. I'm not being pedantic. Really. I'm making your goal easier to achieve.

It's all still probably twice as far as I ever ride... I just tell myself that kilometres are longer on dirt...

    54 miles=285,120 feet or 3,421,440 inches WOW That's a lot!

Hmmm....I liked the sound of 100km better!

Lifesgreat, it was a great ride today, wasn't it. I felt really good today...still think it was the Cadburys.

You only have to ride an extra 12.5 miles to hit 100km, and there's not much that can't be improved with a little Cadbury's.

    I know that 50 miles isn't 100 km...

    I know 100miles is 160 miles

Having a "senior" moment... I'll blame the end of term and feeling absolutely brain dead - been a busy year

Thanks for the heads-up, I'm just as pedantic - don't apologise Kiwi...

Congrats! I still remember how hard it was to hit 50 the first time. It gets a lot easier from here on out, I promise! Way to go!

PS: Your riding partner might want to get her helmet straps adjusted, if it's cocking sideways like that it could potentially slip off or to the side in a crash and not protect her head very well.
