to start back riding. He's very pleased about the progress of the knee. He did restrict me to walking no more than 2-3 miles at a time(for exercise) no more than 3 times a week. He would prefer me using the bike as my main means of aerobic exercise. He says this is due to the placement of the cartilidge damage.
Guess this gives me the excuse I need to buy the fairing I want for the recumbent and the car carrier. I can't get them at the same time but now I have a really good reason.
The doctor want me to build up on the trainer before I'm out on the road again. He also said I could slowly build up on weight training.
See ya out there soon!!

I'm always happy whenever I hear that someone is getting well again and back onto their bike!
I'm so happy for you Donna! Take it slow and listen to your body! Build yourself up and in no time you'll be cruising again!
Take care! Sue![]()
Great News Donna, and I copy what Susan said. What a great time of year to get the ok to get back on the bike!!!!
Wishing you well,
JoAnn
Cool. I'm sure your poor bike was wondering if you'd forgotten all about it.
Do you have the fairing picked out yet? (Knowing that choices are limited.) I just think our big ol' bents look nekkid without a fairing so I'm glad you're getting one. They are so nice in a tailwindand not bad in headwinds, either.
Take care of that knee, now, do what your doc says, but enjoy the bike.
Give big space to the festive dog that make sport in the roadway. Avoid entanglement with your wheel spoke.

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow".
