Boot camp... it was really hard and I was already tired from a 52 mile ride Wed. I was not hungry when I got up, forced some dried fruit down, though.
B: tuna with oil on sliced tomatoes, melted cheddar, bowl of blueberries, coffee
L: home made chicken salad with cranberries and walnuts, an apple
S: 2 ww pita crackers, small piece of Machengo
D: made a calorie reduced Cobb salad recipe which was really good. I replaced the blue cheese with goat cheese, as I hate blue cheese. Made some avocado dressing, too. glass of red wine.

    Today:

B: spinach/cheese omelet with fermented veggies, 1 slice fresh side, coffee
90 minute "Funday" group workout, followed by some extra work on deadlifting, then a protein shake
L: salad and a burger with romaine lettuce leaves as a wrap, banana for dessert
    S: 1 beer
D: Bora Bora Meatballs and probably some sauteed veggies. Planning on also making cumin-roasted carrots but that might happen after dinner for the work week.

The meatball recipe is great, but the name is most appropriate "Bora Bora Fireballs", I cut the cayenne pepper way back but it is still quite spicy. Very good mix with the pineapple in the recipe!

Well, yesterday was a big eating day for the metric, which had about 3,200 ft. of climbing. I can deal with it.
B: whole wheat bagel, light cream cheese and lox, with 2 scrambled eggs and one cup of coffee.
During the ride I had about 2 bottles of Accelerade and half a bottle of water, 2 Lara Bars, and 2 Shot Blocks.
Lunch was part of the after ride festivities, and I did not want the vegetarian option! I had a pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw AND a small piece of corn bread. Also 2 beers were free with the lunch, and I had 1.5, compliments of the Sam Adams Brewery.
D: went out for a really good Italian dinner at a restaurant in the town I used to teach in. I ate a whole plate of parpadelle, tomatoes, and ricotta and had 2 glasses of wine.
Back on track today, but still pretty hungry .

I've seen the scale creep up a couple of pounds, it seems to really help posting here so time to get back to it. Interesting that the gain happened when I started allowing dairy back into my diet - I think it is likely to be causing some bloating so back to only having dairy on very special occasions after today.

    Today (rest day):
B: eggs scrambled with baby greens, 1 slice fresh side, fermented veggies, coffee
L: 4 Bora Bora Fireballs, more greens, followed with 1 small scoop of decadent chocolate/bacon gelato!
D: Planning on roasted chicken, cumin-roasted carrots, and a salad with whatever veggies are in the fridge.

Crankin, you SHOULD have been hungry after that ride I might consider a bike ride tonight, but considering I've worked out the last 4 days in a row at one thing or another, and I've plans for the next three days...I need a rest day. Perhaps a gentle stroll after dinner.
