I find a timer helps. Set to every 15 minutes.
On every 15, sip some calories.
On every 30, also take a bite and chew something. Blocks, PB&J, rice bar, Clif bar, whatever.
When you feel like it, stop and get off the bike, stretch, and take a few bites.
