    B: WG toast, butter, sweet roll, coffee
    L: some leftover potatoes and broccoli, small helping of cottage cheese
    Snack: Ice cream bar at the pool
    Dinner: at a great italian restaurant, boy did I eat too much! It was my birthday! 1 piece italian bread with olive oil and garlic, 1 glass of pinot grigio, huge plate of pasta with shrimp scampi and the sauce had lots of cream (WOW!) so good, salad, and then three samples of creme brulee, one chocolate, one classic and on with raspberry shared with hubby, another glass of pinot grigio. I went home and layed down - could not stand myself!!!!

    Hey, it's your birthday; celebrate!
    B: had some nuts and dried fruit before boot camp, then a can of tuna and olive oil over sliced tomatoes, with melted cheddar and a small bowl of blueberries, strawberries, brown rice cereal, and almond milk.
    L: salad with arugula, chicken, chick peas, avocado, cheddar, fig vinegar, half an orange
    S: nuts, cranberries, chocolate bits. half the bag spilled in my work bag and I was starving when I got home
    D:huevos rancheros: 2 fried eggs on a corn tortilla, with black beans, melted jack cheese, avocado, cilantro, salsa with sliced pineapple, glass of red wine

    B: shredded wheat, milk, strawberries, coffee
    L: chow mein with veges
    D: 1 chicken thigh, sauteed with onions, mushrooms, red and yellow bell peppers, tomatoes, fresh thyme and basil, over brown rice, 1 glass white wine
    1/2 piece of chocolate

    Today:
    1 piece wg toast with butter, coffee
    2 hours tennis
    1 banana
    L: Leftover vege chow mein
    D: not sure yet.

    B: egg whites, kale, green chili salsa, 1/4 avocado, an orange, coffee
    S: met a friend for coffee in between clients
    L: one veggie burger, no bun, black beans, cole slaw. Someone told me my lunch smelled good and then when I told her what it was and she looked, she almost gagged!

    D: grilled salmon with red pepper/tomato pesto that I made, roasted broccolini, sweet potato, glass of white wine

    B: 4 slices of low salt ham and tomatoes, with melted jack cheese, small bowl of blueberries, strawberries, brown rice krispies, almond milk, green tea
    S: I had aslice of whole wheat spelt bread with almond butter before a 25 mile ride, and munched on a Luna Bar during and after the ride
    L: chicken salad with cranberries and walnuts, coffee
    D: cumin-chili chicken breast with tomatoes, avocado, corn, and black beans

    L: bowl of homemade chicken soup with kale, brown rice and corn
    1 scoop of rocky road ice cream
    D: 1/4 piece of steak, salad (home grown lettuce from the garden, plus), pasta and marinara sauce with parmesan sprinkled on, 1 glass red wine
    1/2 piece of dark chocolate toffee

    yesterday
    went for a 2.2 mile hill walk just before the tropical storm rain started
    B: corn tortilla with chicken slices, jack cheese, salsa sauteed in olive oil, an orange, coffee
    L:cup of butternut squash soup, chicken breast left over from Wed., refried black beans
    S: 3 whole wheat pita chips
    D: we went to one of my favorite restaurants before theatre, the last play of the season. Had a salad with kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, vinaigrette, and scallops on a bed of quinoa and kale. Shared a dessert with DH, chocolate cream something, like a mousse. It was small and perfect sized. Glass of red wine
