Ok, I am back, and thankfully back to normal:

    Yesterday:

B: breakfast buffet at the hotel - eggs, veggies, a few potatoes, too much coffee
L: A salad at TGI Friday's on the way home that was SUPPOSED to have chicken in it. I suppose that it did...but certainly not enough to amount to anything.
1 hour hard group training session ... at which I may have injured my other shoulder...
D: roasted chicken thigh wrap (at home) on romaine lettuce leaves

    Today:

B: eggs scrambled with spinach at home, triple espresso picked up on the way to work
L: another roasted chicken wrap, small banana
D: Can't say just yet, though I did go grocery shopping. Thinking about a red lettuce salad with chicken, bacon, veggies and homemade dressing. I am too tired to concoct anything more complicated than that, I just couldn't go to sleep last night. I am unsure if I ever actually DID sleep, though I probably did.

It is good to be home. I am carefully NOT weighing until I've been back to normal for a few days HOPING to ride at some point this weekend...

B: 2 fried eggs, 2 slices uncured bacon, an orange
S: slice of Ezekial raisin bread with almond butter
12 mile ride; kind of my time trial loop. It's hilly and my speed went up half a mile since I did it last.
L: salad with lettuce, chicken salad with mayo, chick peas, an apple
    S: walnuts
D: OK went to a colleague's house for dinner, where she prepared traditional Puerto Rican food. I had a little of everything: chorizo soup, churrasco, some chicken breast in a sauce, tostones, salad, rice and beans, and 2 glasses of red wine. Oy

    Today:

B: eggs over sweet potato pancakes, 2 thin slices fresh side, black coffee
1 hour group workout followed with a protein shake
L: 'sandwich' with last two sweet potato pancakes, smoked Alaskan salmon, tomato
    S: espresso
D: Planning on making lamb lettuce boats (lamb stew meat) with avo-tziki sauce, and roasted carrots/broccoli. There will be one beer, probably before dinner

Hoping to ride tomorrow....please don't rain...

B: cornflakes with fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries (from California), skim milk and dollop of plain yogurt
very early Lunch-Snack: Middle Eastern flatbread wth zataar spicing and cashew phyllo pastry, water at local wholesale bakery stop. Go there first thing in morning where there was a lineup of people buying Middle Eastern breads in bulk for home and restaurants.
Snack: fresh apple Danish and coffee

Dinner: stir fried bitter melon with red peppers, a Chinese mustard green, onions, ginger with light noodles, tea.

Later had a snack of cornflakes and skim milk.

B:tuna in olive oil on sliced tomatoes, melted low fat cheddar, blueberries, coffee
S: handful of nuts, cranberries, chocolate before being the sweep for a 22.5 mile ride. I ate half a Lara Bar at the rest stop and the other half when we got back and were waiting for the other group to arrive back.
L: chicken salad on lettuce with chick peas, left over posole soup
D: another dinner at a friend's house. The dinner was fine... it was the 2 rum swizzles that probably weren't so healthy! Had some canneloni bean dip and whole wheat crackers with the cocktails, then a large salad, roasted slamon over risotto and tomatoes, one piece of dark chocolate and one ruggelah.

Another marathon eating day. Thankfully, the next 2 weeks have no big occasions and DH will be away for one of them!
B: I asked for bagels and lox for Mother's Day, and I got them. Had a whole wheat bagel with light cream cheese and lox. This is a treat for me now, which is a big change. Jewish comfort food. Had 2 cups of coffee and an orange.
L: had breakfast again, for lunch. 2 egg omelette with low fat cheddar, salsa, avocado, 1.5 turkey breakfast sausage, a corn tortilla, and blueberries
    3 mile hilly walk
D: went out with DS and DIL. Had a cup of pumpkin soup and 2 fresh tuna soft tacos, one 12 oz. beer. Walked to a frozen yogurt place and I made myself a very small dish of the natural tangy flavor, with blueberries, chocolate chips, and walnuts.
