Where to Find Felt Protectors?

walmart, target, home depot all carry various felt things to protect floors from chair leg scratches- they are usually sticky backed. Alternatively you could go to a sewing or hobby store and buy a square of felt and cut your own, trusting the pressure from the mounting device to keep it in place.

Craft felt is pretty low density. I wouldn't trust it to hold up with any kind of pressure, abrasion, rubbing etc.
