I've always done one legged squats going down to the bench and holding a weight. I wonder if I could do them w/o the bench.

I tried a few, just messing around, it's really hard to keep your knee over your ankle. And not having the bench under my butt, makes me reluctant to go down as far.

It takes time - I want to lean backwards as I go down - which doesn't work so well especially with a kettlebell in the front rack position. The cue is to drop straight down like we know we should...practice makes perfectWe have one woman who is so good at this that her butt is about 6 inches off the ground and she has perfect form.
