Wow! Do another 21 miles further and you're past the Metric Century mark! Well done!! You won't believe how easy the same distance will be for you next time!

We did the Folks on Spokes easter ride, down south by governor's state university. It was a mix of farms, residential, and some industrial. Got some good views of a large warehouse. That was pretty.
My butt isn't too sore today so I might go for another ride, but shorter, today. You never know when this 70 degree weather is going to take a dive around here!

I know. I'm sitting here at the hospital, waiting for a patient to come in for me to check her. Gritting my teeth at how beautiful it is out, and how much I'd like to be on the bike. Tomorrow AM for sure. Have a nice ride!
PS: Got your PM, let's see how things look in May. Maybe we can go south on the lakefront someday! Fuji, too.![]()

Holy cow, I need to work on my butt callus. I went for a 25 miler today and the first 10 minutes were spent half standingLove this time of the year! But wow, what great weather. Lise I hope you got out today. I plan on riding again tomorrow if I can.

Looks like great weather all week long! My riding partner, who works part time, called me at work yesterday to taunt me as she left on a long riding!
I was laughing yesterday riding home from work as I watched all the neighborhood kids out in shorts and flip-flops - there's plenty of places in the US where 70 degrees would still be a bit chilly to strip down. When I first moved here, I couldn't believe the guys who would be out in their shorts as soon as it went above 50 degrees. You gotta love those hardy Chicagoans!
Way to go Fujigirl! Doubling your mileage is quite a feat!
