I admit ... I have called my friend "crazy," the 10-star marathon maniac who runs either two marathons or an ultra (plus a 26.2 if the "ultra" is "only" 50K) almost every single weekend ... completed 70 miles of his first attempt at 100 in ankle deep mud this past weekend and is shooting for finishing 100 laps of a 1-mile course
And I didn't mean crazy crazy. Anyway I think the word I used was actually "nuts."

I think some people challenge themselves quite seriously ...but in a different style and they don't even realize it themselves (as hard-driving)...until one is compared against other people doing the same thing.
