By what Nanci's written about the bike time, I can see that my estimations were off. I thought she'd be off the bike by 3PM CST. Any guesses? I am seriously impaired with respect to linear time.L.

I just called her family, and they thought she missed the bike cut off- but they missed her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her bike is in the rack, all is well. Well, as well it can be, 15 minutes ahead of the cut off.
I HATE THIS!!!

9.5 hours to finish bike based on Denise's post the other day. She estimated 2 hours for swim, 7.5- 7 3/4 on bike. So based on 10am EST start, that would be 7:30pm to finish the bike. So she should be on her run now.
(If I figured everything correctly).

how did you get that information? I've been looking all over to find that data, and I can't seem to get it to come up.

Here's her link:

That website is impossible to navigate. Thanks for the link. I've been looking for that all day!

Go to www.ironmanlive.com, click on the IRONMAN ARIZONA banner at the top middle, and the box that opens has "Athlete Finder" at the top on the left. Click on that, and enter Denise's number, 794.
I'm watching the live feed of the finish line (of course I wanted it to be the live feed of the transition area so I could see Denise!) I just saw one guy cross strong, then fall down. Looked like he was crying as they helped him up. I'd been watching these incredibly muscular, lean women and men cross the line smiling, and I wondered why none of them had fallen down and started crying, as I have done sometimes upon finishing a race. I feel a real kinship with that one guy. I have a feeling that, as time goes on, we'll have more finishers that look like me.
I love how the announcer is saying, "Come on home, (so and so), You Are An Ironman!"
This is so cool. Thanks, Denise, for inviting us all into this amazing event. Our hearts are out with you on that run course.

I had tried that (putting in her bib number) and it never worked for me. The link I got worked so I can keep track now!!!

WOW! She has been going for 10 hours! And then some (since she is running now!). It looks like her pace right where she wanted it to be too.
Just thinking about her crossing the finish line... brings tears to my eyes. How amazing of her! I know she is going to do it!
I don't know that I'll make it either - will have to check in the AM. Of course, Hubby has been wondering why I've been running back and forth to the computer all day - especially near the end of the bike leg. Since he's a nightowl, maybe I can con him into checking and waking me up
Thanks to all who have been posting updates - they're much appreciated.
Go Denise, GO!!!!!
Most days in life don't stand out, But life's about those days that will...
I can't stay awake till 3AM to watch the finish. I told her family to call me when she finishes, no matter what time it is. 6 hours and 10 minutes left to go.
