    Ice ice go away!

Ice storm this evening...and now it is snowing. I REALLY WANT TO RIDE MY BIKE! This is actually the first time since the holidays that I've really wanted to ride so apparently I've been off the bike long enough now

I tried something they suggested on the news tonight. I always flip the wipers up when it is going to snow or ice, but this is the first time I've tried putting a couple of towels over my windshield. I draped another one over the top of the drivers door so hopefully it shouldn't freeze shut on me. I am curious to see how well this will work!

It's raining here so I'll take the trainer out again
Catrin, do you have a mountain bike? It can be riddern in the snow.

Very little snow, basically just ice - though it will be gone before the day is over. The problem are the temps. I've cold-air induced asthma so I can't ride outside much under 40 degree. It DOES look like there might be a chance for at least a small ride this weekend though

Do you have studded tires? I got a set a few years ago and they work great. I know you said you have a hard time with your asthma in cooler temps so I hope it warms up for you.
