B: cereal, strawberries, 2% milk, coffee, 1 piece wg toast with butter
1 donut (had to try our new dunkin donuts) with a cup of coffee
L: 1 piece chicken thigh leftover with chili sauce, 1 piece wg bread with butter
D: salmon, asparagus, pasta, 1 glass white wine
Today:
B: scrambled eggs with baby spinach over small amount of sweet potato hash, 2 thin slices of fresh side pork - I call it bacon (cooked with salt and pepper - yummm, coffee (no cream!)
90 minute HARD workout!
post workout snack: boiled egg whites, 1/2 banana
L: chili over baby spinach, the other half of that banana
D: Probably sirloin steak if I can make up my mind how I want to cook it, green beans, salad. Perhaps a small baked sweet potato, perhaps not.
Still kind of hungry after lunch, I might have to have a snack of a few hazelnuts or macadamia nuts with some strawberries...hmmmmmmmm

I won't get into what I ate when I was on vacation. None of it was really awfully unhealthy (i.e. fried or sugary), but I did have a lot of bread and other grains that I don't normally eat. I did manage to only have dessert one night out of 3, so that was an accomplishment.
I am still sick, but somewhat on the mend. No semblance of normal exercise yet, although I did one hard snow shoe and one pretty intense nordic ski, due to conditions during the weekend. I did nothing but eat yesterday. Today I did a very light 30 minute work out on the trainer, like one of those old ladies at the gym that just sits and spins slowly. Since that started a bit of wheezing, tomorrow will be yoga and some weights. I am hoping to be able to go to spin or do the trainer on Wednesday.
B: 2 eggs and some egg whites with kale, an orange and blueberries, coffee, 6 oz. almond milk
L: we had no food in the house, so I rolled up a whole wheat tortilla and put the last of my hummus inside, which I ate in the car, in between clients. It's a weird day, since it's school vacation week here, so I saw 3 clients, even though my office is closed.
S: nuts and cranberries, a piece of cheese when I got home, and 2 whole wheat pita rounds and more hummus
D: 3 very small chicken thighs, sweet potato, broccoli, 2 squares dark chocolate
S: just finished about 4 oz. plain Greek non fat yogurt with blueberries, to help with the effects of the antibiotic I took

Well, I'm back home but we are still a little short of prepped food in the house. I will remedy that this evening.
Today
B: eggs with spinach, topped with salsa and avocado, black coffee
L: two chicken apple sausages and a pile of mixed veggies steamed and drizzled with olive oil
S: handful of mixed nuts
D: grilled salmon, mixed greens salad, and a baked sweet potato (topped with cranberries and macadamia nuts)

So the only meal I've had today is dinner, unless you count the cup of coffee around lunch time: Chicken breast (honey Dijon-marinated), brown rice, big pile of kale cooked in bacon fat (and the bacon)
Pre-dinner snack: a bit of chocolate, small bowl of Greek yogurt with apples, walnuts and a bit of granola
At least I don't leave slime trails.

Becky - I just saw this! I should have posted more of my meals. This trip was weird because I stayed at my parent's house for half of it, so it was 'cheating' in terms of traveling while paleo.
I leave again next week for a trip to New England, so I'll be sure to post more then. Basically, I always look for TJ's or Whole Foods to stock a hotel room fridge and then Chipotle (their carnitas are Whole30 compliant) or Panera for restaurant options. Steak houses are typically pretty good too. I also always carry a container of olive oil/vinegar in my liquids bag, a couple of pouches of tuna and a couple of packets of Justin's almond butter for emergencies. Grab a banana from Starbucks and squirt almond butter on it and that'll hold me for hours. And it's usually possible to find veggie salads in airports, so with my own tuna and salad dressing, I'm good to go.
