    If you're on Facebook, check out Dinah Hannah's page. She's a cyclist who did RAAM last year, and just had a THR 2 weeks ago.

    She's an amazing, very inspirational person - she went from obese to being an ultra-cyclist. And she seems to be bouncing back from her THR pretty fast!

    Hang in there! It amazes me how quickly I see people back to their activities these days after a hip replacement. Sorry you have to go through this but hope the results exceed your expectations

    We have a number of friends at our tennis club who have had THR and they bounced back amazingly well.

    I would have to imagine after being in pain most of the time, it would be a tremendous relief. You'd need to be diligent on the recovery and PT.
