So sorry Pam!! Hoping the sonogram is not cancer and I agree, our pets never get long enough. (((HUGS)))

So I'm guessing my girl cat here is going to adapt to the dog a little faster than the boy, who ran to the bedroom immediately and hasn't come down since.

Lloyd died peacefully at home this afternoon. Even though he didn't live long enough for a sonogram, the vet is certain it was cancer. Much as I wanted more time to coddle him, I know that a brief final illness is merciful. He was very sick, but didn't seem to be in pain.

Thanks for the kind words and good wishes. I'm not sure why it helps to share with an online community, but it does.

So very sorry, Pam. At least Lloyd died peacefully without having to suffer through a lot of medical interventions, and you had a good long time with him. I'm sure you have lots of great memories!

    Take good care...

I'm so sorry Pam. RIP Lloyd. I'm glad he went peacefully and wasn't in any pain.

What a great face. Nothing matches the face of a bullie. Gosh I love that face!

Awww, Lloyd looks like such a cool boy. So sorry that he is gone, but glad he went peacefully. It's never easy to lose a pet. I lost my British Shorthair unexpectedly a few months ago. It sure stings

Here is my new Brit, Tiger. He does this EVERYWHERE. It's the Tiger pose.

A friend of mine, who always kids around about Toby being her boyfriend, retired recently. The hospital, where she's been a nurse forever, threw her a small retirement party. I decided that her boyfriend just HAD to make an appearance. So I dolled him up for the occasion. Here he is, ready to wish his girlfriend a happy retirement.
