    B: blueberries and milk. One Finn crisp cracker and a bit of cheese
    S: Milk and whey powder, after lifting
    L: Salad with parmesan cheese and dried cranberries and Ceasar dressing.
    S: Half a banana blended with a cup of frozen strawberries and blackberries. I was hot.
    D: I am going to have a salmon pinwheel. And a small glass of wine.

    B: egg whites, kale, mushrooms, green chili salsa, an orange, coffee
    S: nuts and cranberries
    an hour of yoga/stretching
    L: tofu "egg salad," with celery, yellow cherry tomatoes, chick peas, cup of low salt corn soup, an apple
    D: (restaurant). Well, I did OK with the food, but too much wine.
    tuna tartare over guacamole for an appetizer (need to split this next time), pan seared mahi-mahi, roasted sweet potatoes, spinach, 2 glasses of wine, coffee

    D: 1 chicken thigh, salad with blue cheese crumbles and vinaigrette, a few pieces of roasted potato

    Yesterday: It wasn't a normal day as I started with a fasting blood draw and then straight to work.

    B: Salad with artisan lettuce, chicken, boiled egg, assorted veggies.
    L: what lunch?
    S: KIND bar at the movies
    D: Home late, so it was breakfast: eggs scrambled with veggies and bacon.

    B: sweet potato, bowl of blueberries, strawberries, sprinkled with sliced almonds, and dried cranberries, with non fat plain Greek yogurt, 2 slices of uncured bacon. 1/2 cup of almond milk, coffee
    45 minute trainer intervals/yoga workout
    S: 2 dried apricots
    L: 2 veggie burger patties, sliced apple, cup of corn soup
    D: went to a party. Had half a glass of wine, 3 salmon pinwheels, and 2 whole wheat pita slices with hummus, one very small turkey sandwich on a tiny croissant, with a green salad.

    Artisan lettuce is a combination of different types of lettuce sold in a container - typically there are 4 different small heads of lettuce of different types. A review here.

    B: ground bison/veggie frittata, coffee with cream
    one hour hard group workout followed by a KIND + Protein bar
    L: a bit of this and that at coffee hour after church - mainly chicken salad and fruit
    D: chocolate chili over cauliflower "rice".

    We buy "artisan" lettuce at Kroger and while we like the product, there's nothing "artisan" about it. There's nothing "artisan" about food grown in the ground. The truth is that the word has become a marketing gimmick and is being misused for a whole host of foods.

    I agree, it is just the brand name. Good lettuce though, and it is a different variety than what I've seen.
