These seem to fit quite well for me in the heel, and I have had some issues with heel slippage in the past. (If that's what you mean.) They are comfortably wide enough in the toebox without being too wide, and snug enough in the heel. I had always worn Shimano shoes in the past as they seemed to fit me best, and the Mavic's fit considerably better for me.
And agreed on the length. I wear a 40 (US size 8) in the Mavic's, a 8.5 sneaker (Nike) and wore 41's in my Shimano road shoes, although a 40 in my Shimano MTB shoes.




I tried the road shoes on (that's what I was looking for) and was very disappointed that they didn't fit in the heel because they felt so wonderful everywhere else.
