Single track is no problem. Technical climbs with a lot of rock clearly cannot be done on a bike with this design. I am biking a lot of the dirt roads and single horse riding track in Tonto Verde Forest. I am still on a learning curve learning to shift my weight as it is very different from a DF mtn bike.

Very cool! After riding a tandem and single road recumbent in the past, I wouldn't necessarily trust myself on any tricky or technical terrain on a mountain version, but gravel roads, sure. Fun!

I swapped out the 2.0 tires for the largest ones I could get. A 2.2 on the front, and a 2.6 on the rear. The ride is greatly improved without any slipping in soft sand. Here is a picture!
