    small riding clothes

Hi I am looking for extra small biking shorts, knickers and the like. I went to the Pearl Izumi Outlet today and their xsmall pants, shorts, knee warmers were all too big for me. As you can figure out, I am slightly built and am having trouble. What brands, does any one know run smaller than PI? Thanx!

Terry runs way too large for my 5"2 105lb frame. I love the Hincapie shorts, the length is perfect for me, not too long but also not short. The Hincapie jersey's are nice but run tight if you have a larger bust. I like Sheila Moon jerseys in an xs and her arm warmers are great for my short, thin arms. Last time I tried on the Sheila Moon shorts in an xs they were too big. Not sure if Hincapie runs smaller than PI though.

Castelli and Louis Garneau do tend to run small, but I'm not sure how small they run. (I'm about 5'7", 135-140 and wear a medium in Castelli, not sure what in LG but I do know they run on the small side.) I think Primal Wear also runs small.

Primal I think has a tendency to not size very small. Canari's items that are cut for women tend to be quite small - not the unisex stuff though, you've got to find the women specific stuff. (I'm 5ft 103 lbs, 32A and it tends to fit me pretty well)

Voler xsmall jerseys run on the small side. I am 5' 1" and weigh 103-105. I mostly buy Terry stuff; not all of their jerseys are cut the same. But, I have quite a few Voler and a few Sheila Moon. Shorts, I've never had any issue with Terry, Sugoi or Shebeest. My issue is that when I first started riding, and to a certain extent today, some companies do not make things in x small woman's sizes. PI and Performance are the biggest offenders.

I'm 120#, 34A/B, 29" waist and 37" hips. I take a Large in LG shorts. But they don't make XS, only Small. No idea how their tops might fit on me. A Medium Hincapie jersey is very snug on me, definitely "race fit," and those go to XS, but I've never tried on their bottoms.

Thank to everyone for your replies. I appreciate the help. The main issue is lower body. I found PI jerseys to fit well but the legs on the knickers and leg warmers gapped a bit. I will try the brands you suggested.

I don't generally wear knickers, so I can't help you there, but for us little folks men's large/extra large arm warmers can make excellent leg warmers...

I do like to wear PI running tights over my shorts in the winter. They are a bit too long, but not enough so to be really bothersome.
