    just an 'fyi' - I have been riding my husband's old trek mtn bike (he has a newer one now) and I spent $150 on a two step powder coating for it (plus $40 for the LBS to take it apart and put it back together) and it looks great. There are SO many colors/finishes to choose from that it would boggle your mind!

    Let us know what you decide to do!

    ps. I'm attaching a picture although you can't really tell how cool the color is - its a reddish color but in the sun you can see an orange in it and metalic.
