I won't even try to post what I ate this weekend, but I took my food and campstove with me so I didn't do badly at all outside of a bit too much beer...
Today:
B: eggs scrambled with mushrooms, chopped hubbard squash, beet greens, coffee with cream
1 hour workout
S: chicken thigh
L: eggs scrambled with chopped hubbard squash and spinach (before grocery shopping)
D: Planning to have beef liver, bacon & onions with bok-choy and perhaps roasted beets. Or hubbard squash as there is so much of it!
We will see how the liver goes, my first attempt, ever, to cook it.
Added: The liver wasn't bad! I cooked it with lots of onions and bacon. I don't see it becoming my favorite but I can eat it! That was beef liver, so will have to check out the less strongly flavored types. I burned incense while cooking it - but it didn't have a very strong smell or THAT strong of a taste. I wonder if it was actually from a calf rather than a full grown cow.
