    Thursday:
    almonds and dried cranberries before boot camp (a handful)
    B: egg whites and veggies, an orange, coffee
    L: 4 ham roll ups with light cream cheese, an apple,
    S: I ate my nuts, chocolate bits, and cranberries through out the afternoon and had a slice of raisin Ezekial bread with soy nut butter around 5
    D: 6 slices flank steak with chimichurri sauce, salad with vinaigrette, 2 squares dark chocolate, half a glass of red wine

    L: leftover yellow curry with chicken over veggies
    S: generous handful of mixed raw nuts and a few grapes at an office party
    D: pot roast, roasted veggies and a few bites of garlic mashed potatoes, 1/2 glass Malbec

    L: went out to lunch with DS, who is taking a week off at home... 2 poblano pepper and potato enchiladas, on corn tortillas, with some kind of green chili sauce. I ate the black beans and not the rice.
    had a small skim mocha latte after

    D: cup of low salt corn soup, chicken, apple slices, cheddar sandwich on a spelt roll, cole slaw

    Saturday:
    B: one egg, 3 slices ham, low fat cheddar on 2 slices Ezekial bread, an orange, coffee
    I co-led a 38.5 mile ride at a very slow speed.
    Lunch was in the middle of the ride, where I ate half of a cranberry-walnut chicken salad wrap and a packet of nuts and cranberries
    S: Ate a Luna Bar at the end of the ride
    D: went out with friends, where I ate a garden salad with oil and vinegar, whole wheat penne with marinara, and one meatball, and a very small piece of bread. 2 glasses of red wine, and a few bites of DH's chocolate cake dessert

    Sunday:
    B: everything bagel, light cream cheese, lox, an orange, coffee
    half hour of run/walk intervals on the treadmill, totaling about 2.75 miles, including warm up and cool down
    L: cup of sweet potato soup, salad with tuna, lettuce, grape tomatoes, a sprinkle of goat cheese
    S: piece of Machengo cheese
    D: tomato stuffed with curried chicken salad, blueberries, 2 squares dark chocolate, 2 dried apricots

    Back to normal eating. I can't totally deprive myself on the weekends.

    1 piece wg toast with butter
    L: chili and cornbread, chocolate brownie, 1 beer
    D: Large salad with grilled chicken breast, blue cheese crumbles and vinaigrette, 1 glass red wine

    I won't even try to post what I ate this weekend, but I took my food and campstove with me so I didn't do badly at all outside of a bit too much beer...

    Today:
    B: eggs scrambled with mushrooms, chopped hubbard squash, beet greens, coffee with cream
    1 hour workout
    S: chicken thigh
    L: eggs scrambled with chopped hubbard squash and spinach (before grocery shopping)
    D: Planning to have beef liver, bacon & onions with bok-choy and perhaps roasted beets. Or hubbard squash as there is so much of it!

    We will see how the liver goes, my first attempt, ever, to cook it.

    Added: The liver wasn't bad! I cooked it with lots of onions and bacon. I don't see it becoming my favorite but I can eat it! That was beef liver, so will have to check out the less strongly flavored types. I burned incense while cooking it - but it didn't have a very strong smell or THAT strong of a taste. I wonder if it was actually from a calf rather than a full grown cow.
