Exhausted!

I've been powering through the last 10 days, waaaaaaaay outside of my comfort zone. I put in an offer on a house and it got accepted, so we've been in the hurry hurry hurry phase of inspections, well tests, negotiations, permit reviews, title reviews, loan applications........

In the middle of all this, I've had guests at my house on and off, been working as usual, completed a crazy hard 55 mile mountain bike race that took me 8:45 min to complete and I've been gearing up to sign up for a huge race in the spring.

It's almost over and I am ready to sleep the sleep of the dead.

But there's one last hurdle. I'm giving a talk this morning for 50 swim coaches on dry land training.

That saying about doing something every day that scares you, I think I got it covered.

Just wanted to express myself in a safe place.

You have definitely earned a rest! I remember one year we were moving back from out of state, closing on a new house, packing, driving, and starting jobs all in the period of a couple of weeks. I lost weight and remember just being as bone tired as I'd ever been. And I wasn't doing races or giving talks!

I hope you can rachet back the pace a bit very soon...you've earned it.

Not asleep yet. But I'm back home and sliding nicely into recovery phase. Beer in hand, dog to cuddle and movies to watch.
