BikeWriter- it really is! I never really "got" the whole cycling concept before... but I sure do now!

GoCard- I actually got her used, so I got a pretty sweet deal (if the bike wasn't sweet enough!). The torment I went through just to find her was horrendous (as in I had SUCH bad experiences at bike shops- it's a miracle I even found the Amira in one. Although given all of the info/feedback I would give the salespeople, it's amazing they didn't just start me out on the Amira). But anyway... I didn't have to stretch my budget too far since she was used (but barely- the computer's odometer showed less than 66 miles and the bike shop that I met at to make the purchase checked her out and verified that she had barely been ridden and was as new as the 2013's they had up on their shelves!), so it all worked out pretty much perfectly for me
murielalex- Thanks! I was pretty impressed with my distance as well. When I got home, my husband said that he was actually starting to worry since I had been out a tad bit longer than my original "I'll just got for a quick ride around the neighborhood"!
